Waiting for winner

Who ever the winner is for the latest CNBC contest has not been announced yet.If you recall the contest last year the winner had to be replaced due to manipulating the Cnbc website [cheating] and a waitress who was the runner up ended up winning. This years reduced prize contest has yet to be awarded.CNBC must be taking extra steps so that they don't have bad publicity during this time of Financial Fraud by "auditing "the contest results. In any case winning a stock trading contest in this crappy market..the winner deserves a prize. We should all pay close attention to "How did he do it?????"

It's Official

Well today CNBC announced the long anticipated new 1,000,000 dollar contest. After last years scandal plagued contest which featured cheating and hacking of the contest; It is likely that security has been improved for this years version. If you recall last year the awarding of the money to the contest winner,A waitress from the midwest, was delayed for several months as CNBC's legal department attempted to audit the results and disqualify the cheaters. Most of the time in the legal disclaimer of the amount of time CNBC had to award the prize was used by this investigation. Some had thought that they would not have the contest due to the bad publicity generated.Perhaps the newly competitive business news landscape because of FBNs debut made CNBC wish to use this Promotion once again. This years version will allow contestants to trade currency as well as stocks
